Finca Zacamitla is as beautiful as its coffee. Located just outside Ixhuatlán del Café in Veracruz, Mexico, the farm’s Yellow and Red Bourbon, Caturra and Typica trees thrive in the volcanic valley soil below looming Mt. Orizaba. This coffee is sourced from the Perla section of the farm, a natural bowl, or “bolsa,” shaded by fog in the mornings and northfacing to avoid the afternoon sun, a unique topography that facilitates slower maturation of the coffee fruit. In partnership with owner Horacio Melo Potrone, we offer this well-balanced coffee with a medium body and flavors of cherry and red grape—from paradise to you.
